Description

We love this recipe because it’s so tasty and low carb. Kids love it because they can eat it with their hands!

Ingredients

1Ttoasted sesame oil
1 package Aidells Teriyaki Meatballs
2 carrots, shredded
2cbean sprouts
2 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
1choisin sauce
6-8 medium sized lettuce leaves, washed and dried (we like green leaf or butter lettuce)
1/4cfresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

In large nonstick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and sauté until brown and heated through, about 8 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl.

To serve, place 2-3 meatballs in the center of a lettuce leaf. Top with some of the carrots, bean sprouts and green onion. Drizzle with hoisin sauce and sprinkle on a bit of cilantro. Roll or wrap the lettuce around the meatballs and eat out-of-hand as you would a taco.
